Description
Woodhouse Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century and early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick with a plain tile roof, featuring a brick ridge stack and a brick gable stack on the front range, as well as brick gable stacks and a ridge stack on the rear range. The building has a dentil eaves cornice and is two storeys tall, plus garrets, with a double range plan. The south elevation has three bays and an off-centre mid-20th century gabled porch. To the left, there is a broad, low, three-light wooden casement window with a segmental head. There are two similar windows to the right and three more above. Inside, the farmhouse features stud partition walls, stop-chamfered beams, and an early 19th century open well staircase with stick balusters.
