Description
Lower Mitton Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the early 18th century, with early and mid-19th century additions. It is constructed of red brick and features a plain tile roof, with a brick ridge stack and an integral end stack. The building is oriented north-south and faces east, with an early 19th century parallel range to the west and a mid-19th century extension to the north. The farmhouse has two storeys and is characterized by dentilled eaves. It has three windows, which are casements with segmental heads. To the right of the centre, there is a gabled porch that includes a door and a fanlight with radiating glazing bars, along with a vertical joint to the right of the porch.
