Description

Brookfield Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century that has been recently restored. It is built of squared coursed limestone with flush dressings and quoins, topped with a stone slate roof featuring coped gables and kneelers. The building has two brick gable end stacks and a projecting eaves band. It stands three storeys high with a three-bay front. On either side of the central doorcase, which has a massive lintel, are two-light flush mullion windows. Above the door, there is a small stair window, with similar windows on either side, matching those below. At the eaves, there are similar windows arranged in the same way. All the windows are 20th-century top hung casements.
