Description

This is an early 19th-century farmhouse. It is built of random limestone rubble with flush gritstone dressings, and has a plain tile roof with two brick gable end stacks. A projecting stone eaves band runs around the building. The farmhouse is two storeys high and double-fronted, with a glazing bar sash window on either side of a central doorcase, which has a moulded canopy supported by stone brackets. The front door is raised and fielded, with two glazed panels above. Above the door are three glazing bar sash windows. To the east are outbuildings under the same roof. One door features a massive lintel and quoins, and a small square window is located above.
