Description
No. 16 Victoria Square is a building with an 18th-century facade, although there is evidence of earlier timber framing. The exterior is rendered and grooved to imitate masonry, with the render extending over the eaves cornice. The building has an old tiled roof and stands three storeys high, featuring two widely spaced small sash windows on the top floor, which have glazing bars. The first-floor windows have moulded architraves and boxed frames that are partly concealed by a signboard. The ground floor has a large shop front from the late 19th or early 20th century, along with a signboard above. All the listed buildings in Victoria Square are part of a group.
