Description
The stable block, now serving as tea rooms, was built in 1892. It is constructed of red brick with stone dressings and features a plain tile roof with stone-coped gables, moulded kneelers, and ball finials. A stone gable stack is present, and the building has flush angle quoins. It is two storeys high with a five-bay south elevation. At the west end, there is a doorway with a chamfered stone surround and a lintel inscribed with "C.W.H.V. 1892," flanked by single light windows, also with chamfered stone surrounds. To the right, there is a similar two-light window and another doorway. Five carriage entrances with segment heads and plank double doors are located to the right. The upper floor features a central three-light chamfered mullion window, with similar two-light windows on each side. The outer bays have doorways, with the right one having a segment head. The north elevation includes six single light windows and a two-light recessed and chamfered mullion window on the ground floor, with one, three, and four-light windows above.
