Description
The Coach House at The Oaklands is a late 18th-century red brick building that has been converted into a garage and outbuildings. It features plain tile roofs and is composed of one and two storeys. The south elevation showcases a dentilled eaves band and a two-storey, three-bay gabled centre section. The ground floor includes a segmental arched doorway with a plank door, flanked by segmental arched windows on either side. Above, there is a similar arrangement of windows, along with a single lunette window in the gable. The lower flanking wings include a left wing with a segmental arched carriage entrance featuring plank doors, while the corresponding right wing has altered openings. The building is listed for its group value.
