Description

Green Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse situated in the parish of Brailsford. It is constructed of red brick with ashlar dressings, and has a plain tile roof punctuated by two brick ridge stacks. The two-storey east elevation has chamfered quoins and a moulded stone eaves band. A central gabled porch, built of brick in the mid-19th century, features a round-arched entrance. Flanking the porch on each side are windows with gauged brick flat arches and keystones, containing Yorkshire sliding sashes. Two similar windows are located above. Windows on the south elevation have segmental heads.
