Description
Hall Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century to the early 18th century. It is constructed of sandstone and red brick, featuring plain tile roofs with two brick ridge stacks and a brick gable stack. The south range has a stone coped gable with plain kneelers, while the north range boasts stone coped gables, ball finials, and moulded kneelers. The building is three storeys tall and has a T-plan layout, with a longer south wing made of coursed squared sandstone.
The east elevation of the south wing includes two 3-light wooden casement windows under stone lintels on the ground floor, with two similar windows above and two smaller versions above those. To the right, at the angle of the return wall of the north cross wing, there is a gabled Victorian porch. The north wing is made of red brick, featuring a chamfered stone plinth and a first-floor brick band. Its east elevation has a 3-light wooden casement window under a stone lintel on the ground floor, with a similar window above and a smaller version in the gable.
