Description
The building is a barn, stables, and cowhouse located to the south of Green Farmhouse, dating from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of red brick with sandstone dressings and features plain tile roofs. The structure is arranged in an L-plan, with the main range running north to south.
The east elevation has an off-centre, broad segmental archway that passes through the building, accented by stone dressings. To the left of this archway, there is a doorway and a window on each floor, both topped with segmental arched stone lintels. On the right side of the ground floor, there are two doors separated by a window, with flat stone lintels above the doors and segmental arched stone lintels above the windows. Three similar windows are positioned above these on the upper floor, and most of the windows still have their original small pane iron casements.
Additionally, there is a single-storey cowhouse range to the southeast. This building is listed for its group value only.
