Description

The building at 5 and 7 Abercrombie Street dates to around 1840. It is constructed of ashlar, featuring a moulded eaves cornice and a band. The roof is covered with slate tiles, and incorporates a large central stone chimney. The building is two storeys high. Number 5 has three windows on its west-facing facade, generally sashes with glazing bars. It has two windows facing the street, which are French casements, likely replacements. Number 7 has three windows on its east-facing facade, sashes with glazing bars, and a central door.
