Description

The Cundy House is a former conduit house, now in a derelict state. It likely dates from the 17th century and was part of the water system for the nearby castle. The building is constructed from coursed squared limestone with sandstone dressings and has a small plain rectangular shape. It is roofless, featuring the remains of chamfered coped gables. The structure has a chamfered plinth and angle quoins. The entrance is located in the gable end and has a keyed ashlar lintel.
