Description
Unity Mill is an early 20th-century building with an unusual design. It is constructed of coursed stone and features a slate roof with a very wide span. The east facade includes one round window in the gable end, along with three similar windows below it. The south facade, facing the street, has a buttressed and rendered east end, with a stone sill band beneath two groups of three small lights. Below this, there are three tall windows, although the western end of this facade has later ground floor windows. The west elevation has a central section that is advanced, and the roof is cut away over the splayed sides. The rear, or north facade, features a wide gabled roof above a central loading bay.
