DERWENT STREET (North Side ) Unity Mill

Early C20. An unusual design. Coursed stone, slate roof with very wide span. East facade has one round window in gable end and three similar windows below this. South facade to street has buttressed and rendered east end and stone sill band below two groups of three small lights. Three tall windows below but western end of this facade has later ground floor fenestration. West elevation has the centre advanced. Roof cut away over splayed sides. Rear or north facade has wide gabled roof over centre loading bay.
