Description
This building is a terrace of fifteen workers' cottages, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed squared gritstone and features plain tile roofs with nine brick ridge stacks. The terrace is two storeys high and has a northeast elevation with seventeen bays. From left to right, the elevation includes a plank door, a glazing bar sash window, a 19th-century canted oriel window, two plank doors, a glazing bar sash, a plain sash, a half-glazed 20th-century door, another plank door, a glazing bar sash, a 20th-century small pane fixed light, two 20th-century doors, two glazing bar sashes, a segment-headed archway through the building, a 19th-century sash window, two plank doors, two casement windows, a 20th-century door, a plank door, two casement windows, another plank door, a 20th-century door, a casement window, a plank door, a 20th-century oriel window, a blocked doorway with a segment head, and a 20th-century casement window. Most of the windows and doors are topped with massive stone lintels. The first floor features sixteen windows, which include a mix of sashes, casements, and 20th-century replacements.
