Description

The icehouse at Alton Manor, dating from around 1846, is a circular structure located to the northwest of Alton Manor. It is built of stone and features a brick lining within the well. The icehouse is now covered with overgrowth and has three doorways, with access provided through a straight passage. Currently, it is abandoned and has become flooded.
