Description

Woodbank House is a house built around 1800, with 20th-century additions. It is constructed from coursed rubble gritstone, rising from a shallow plinth, and features a moulded eaves band, coped gables, moulded kneelers with ball finials, and ashlar ridge stacks, topped with a stone slate roof. The building has a 'T' plan, with 20th-century additions at the angles of the main and rear ranges. The south elevation is two storeys high and has three bays, with glazing bar sashes set in flush stone frames. The central doorway has a quoined surround and a massive lintel, topped by a shallow bracketed hood, and features a 20th-century glazed door.
