Description

This is a milepost from the early 19th century, made of cast iron. It features a short triangular sectioned head with a canted top, mounted on a plain column with a simple capital. The edges of the head have raised fillets, and there is raised lettering on both sides. The west side is inscribed with 'NOTT M 13 LANGL Y 4', while the east side reads 'CROM F 10 RIPLEY 1'.
