Description

The Old Post Office is a pair of cottages, likely built in the late 18th century. They are constructed from coursed rubble and feature a stone tiled roof. The cottages are two storeys high, each with a single unit plan. On the ground floor, there is an outer sash window and centrally located doors, with the door on the right side being behind a modern conservatory. The upper windows consist of two and one-light casements. All openings have flat timber lintels, and there are gable end stacks. Additionally, there is a further parallel range at the rear, which may have been added later.
