Description

The Old Vicarage is a house, likely dating from the late 18th century, and possibly incorporating an earlier structure. It is constructed of coursed ironstone rubble with a sill course, and has a pitched roof. The main range is composed of two sections, with variations in the masonry suggesting partial rebuilding. The two bays to the left feature a large bow window and a sash window with a voussoir and keystone, along with two similar sashes above. A further bay to the left is similar but slightly taller, and is finished with a stone parapet. Extending to the right of this section, and behind it, is another two-storied range with a pitched roof and sash windows to the rear and in the gable wall. A curving two-story porch, situated within the angle between the ranges, has a semi-circular arched fanlight above the doorway and a sixteen-light sash window above that.
