Description

Manortoft is a house dating from the late 17th century to the 18th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble stone with quoins and features a Collyweston slate roof, which has a stone base and brick top, along with ridge and end stacks. The building is designed in an L shape, with a wing on the left that projects forward and a gable facing. It has 2½ storeys and is mostly fitted with 8/8 sash windows that have stone jambs and wooden lintels. On the left side, the wing's gable end contains a blocked window on both floors and a 3-light stone mullion in the attic. The right inner return has a sash window on both floors, while the main range features a central door flanked by sash windows on either side.
