Description
The Smithy is a former village smithy, now used as a storehouse, dating from the mid 19th century. It is constructed of coursed squared stone and features a Collyweston slate roof, which has a boarded lantern and a stone stack on the right end. The building is 1½ storeys high with a gable on the left side. In the gable, there is a carriage doorway and a single roll door, along with a 2-light window above. To the right, there is a door and two 3-light wooden mullion and transom windows. Additionally, there is a round arched window on the right end. The Smithy is included in the listing for its group value.
