Description
This is a 17th-century house located on the east side of Main Street in Market Overton. It is constructed of coursed rubble stone with a Collyweston slate roof, featuring a stone ridge and end stacks. The house has two storeys with a largely stone mullioned window arrangement. From the left, the facade displays a three-light window with a hood mould on both floors, a doorway, a single-light fire window, a two-storey stone canted bay with five lights, and a three-light casement window, and a three-light mullioned window with a hood mould above. There are extensions to the left and right ends; the left extension has a pantile roof, while the right extension has a Collyweston slate roof. The interior features ceiling beams, an inglenook, and doors with two fielded panels.
