Description
Chapel Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse constructed from coursed rubble with a Welsh slate roof. The building has two storeys and features a symmetrical facade with three bays. The central door is set in a trellised porch, flanked by a small light on either side. The windows are wide 20-light sashes, each adorned with thin dropped-end hoodmoulds and voussoirs. A castellated parapet crowns the structure, and gable end stacks rise from either side. To the left, there is a brick wing that ends in a stone dovecote, which has a moulded string course and a hipped slate roof supported by angled brackets, providing an entrance for doves. The house also includes a continuous outshut and an additional stone wing located at the rear.
