Description
The stables and barns at Chapel Farm are early 19th-century farm buildings consisting of a stable range and a barn that face each other across a yard. They are constructed from coursed rubble. The stable range features various openings with cambered brick heads and an external brick staircase leading to the loft. A notable aspect of this range is the gable end, which has embattled gable coping and a blocked full-height Gothick traceried window. The barn range includes large central double doors and two tiers of ventilation slits, along with an embattled gable parapet and a blocked lancet window. Attached to the barn is a cart shed supported by brick piers, which also has an embattled gable.
