Description

No. 40 High Street is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble and features a steep pantiled roof with a stone-coped gable and stack. The building is 1½ storeys high and consists of a single cell. There is a doorway located in the gable wall that faces the road. The front elevation includes two 2-light casement windows, and there is a single catslide dormer above.
