Description

A pair of cottages, likely dating from the late 17th to early 18th century, and originally a single farmhouse, stands on The Green in Exton. The cottages are constructed of coursed rubble and have a thatched roof. They are two storeys with an attic. Number 13 now has its entrance on the side, but the front elevations retain two doorways, and three casement windows suggest a possible original three-unit plan. There are three casement windows above, set at varying heights, and a small dormer to the right. A single gable end stack is situated on the right-hand side. A left-hand rear wing extends from the main structure.
