Description
Ford House is a house dating from the 17th century. It is constructed of coursed ironstone rubble with a later pale ashlar front and features a concrete tile roof with coped gables and brick end stacks, the northern stack resting on a stone base. The house is two storeys high with an attic and has a double-fronted design with two window ranges. The central entrance consists of a part-glazed panelled door, flanked by tripartite sash windows that include glazing bars. There are also two 20th-century dormers on the roof. The north gable end has a blocked door, which has been altered by a later opening, and two blocked single lights. At the rear, there is a lower gabled wing with blocked openings.
