Description

Christmas Cottage and Grange Cottage are two cottages that date back to the 17th century or earlier, though they were built in several phases. They are constructed of coursed rubble and feature a pantiled roof. The cottages have a large central stone ridge stack with both brick and stone shafts, as well as a brick stack at the west end. They are one storey high with attics. The doors date from the 19th century, and the windows are irregularly spaced casements. Christmas Cottage has two 2-light dormers, while Grange Cottage has one 4-light dormer with glazing bars.
