Description

Bridge Cottage is a house from the 17th century, constructed of coursed rubble with a Collyweston stone slate roof. It features a coped west gable with a twin moulded stone stack and a brick stack at the south end. The building is L-shaped, with its gable end facing the street, and has one and a half to two storeys. The west side has a door and two 3-light casement windows, while the south side includes a door and a 2-light casement window, with a 2-light gabled dormer above. The north side has a door beneath a 19th-century hood supported by decorative brackets, along with one- and two-light windows that are irregularly spaced and set beneath timber lintels. There are three 20th-century dormers above.
