Description

The Blue Bell Inn is a public house dating to the 17th century, with later alterations. The main block is constructed of coursed rubble with a Welsh slate roof and a large brick ridge stack. A lower range to the north has a roof of Collyweston stone slate. The front of the main block has a blocked central doorway, flanked to the left by a replacement window under a timber lintel, and to the right by a three-light casement window also under a timber lintel. Above this is a two-light gabled dormer. There is an outshut to the left. At the rear, there is a three-light stone mullioned window with a cornice. The lower range has two two-light casement windows with glazing bars, and a two-light gabled dormer above.
