Description

Numbers 4, 5, and 6, Aldgate, are a row of early 19th-century cottages. Constructed of coursed rubble, they have a slate roof and stone ridge stacks with a brick upper section. The cottages are two-storey and single-fronted, each with a door originally positioned to the right. The window openings have cills, and all the formerly arched door openings were blocked in 1983. The building is listed for its group value.
