Description

The bridge over the River Chater dates back to the 17th century and was restored in 1849. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features three shallow pointed arches that are recessed and have hood moulds. The bridge includes pointed cutwaters with capping on both the upstream and downstream sides. It has a plain coped parapet and wall.
