Description

The churchyard cross located to the south of the south porch of St. Mary is a notable structure dating from 1851, likely designed by W. Butterfield. It features a tall stone shaft that is chamfered and diminishes in width as it rises, standing on a square base. The cross itself incorporates a St. Andrew's cross and is adorned with kidney-shaped scrolls that connect its various points. The total height of the cross is approximately 5 meters.
