Description

The Old Mill is a pair of cottages that have been combined, dating from the 18th century and early 19th century. The building is constructed from coursed squared stone and rubble stone, featuring quoins, and has a Collyweston slate roof with stone and brick ridge and end stacks. The gable faces the front to the left. The cottage on the left, from the 18th century, is 1½ storeys high and has a 3-light casement on either side of a central door, along with two 3-light hipped dormers above. The cottage on the right, from the early 19th century, is 2 storeys tall and has two 3-light casements with a central part-glazed door, and wooden lintels. There are lean-tos at the rear, one of which has a brick stack.
