Description
Luffenham Hall gate and walls are a gateway and walls from the early 17th century, with elements likely from the 18th century. They are constructed from ashlar and coursed rubble stone. The carriage drive gateway features an ashlar rounded arch that is topped with a cornice and an openwork double curve, which has a finial and ball on top. On either side of the arch, there are Tuscan columns with an entablature and pedestal, each topped with a ball. Extending from either side of the gateway are stone coped walls that are approximately 2.5 meters high.
