Description
Moor House Farmhouse, barn, and outbuilding date from the late 17th century to the 18th century. They are constructed from coursed rubble stone with quoins and stone dressings, topped with a Collyweston slate roof featuring moulded stone ridge stacks. The front faces Moor Lane, with the gable end on the left. The building has 1½ storeys and includes three 3-light dormers, two of which have stone mullion windows with hood moulds. On the ground floor, from the left, there is a 2-light casement window in a stone frame, a blocked door, a 3-light mullion window with a hood mould, a part-glazed door, and another similar 3-light window with a hood mould. To the right end, there is a 1-light window, and extending to the rear is a barn with a 20th-century tile roof, windows, and double sliding doors. At the corner with Church Street, there is a single-storey outbuilding with a Welsh slate roof. On the rear of the house, within the yard formed by the three buildings, there is a 3-light stone mullion window with a hood mould.
