The cottage has two storeys and three windows on the front elevation. From the left, there is a three-light casement window on both floors, a stone gabled porch with a two-light stone mullion above it, and another three-light stone mullion window on both floors. There is a small 20th-century single-storey extension at the right end and a wing, which has been remodelled in the 20th century, extending forward from the left side of the front. The rear of the cottage features two two-light windows and two one-light windows.
Inside, the cottage includes beams and a spiral staircase opposite the door, with a double inglenook fireplace behind it, although one beam has been renewed.
