Description
The Wheatsheaf Public House is likely a former farmhouse dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble stone with quoins and features a Collyweston slate roof, supported by stone bases and buff brick flued end stacks. The gable faces to the right, and the building has two storeys with three 8/8 sash windows. These windows have stone sills and lintels, each adorned with keystones. A central 20th-century stone porch provides access, featuring a door with two part-glazed leaves. At the rear, there is a wing alongside the road that includes additional sash windows and 2-light casements.
