Description

No. 1 Bridge Lane is a cottage dating from the late 17th century to the 18th century. It is constructed of painted rubble stone and features a thatched roof with a brick stack at the right end. The building is single-storey. The front facade includes, from left to right, a single-light window, a door, a two-light horizontal sliding sash window, a 20th-century flat-roofed wooden porch with a door and window, and another two-light horizontal sliding sash window. The left end has a single-light window, while the rear includes two two-light horizontal sliding sash windows and two single-light windows.
