Description
50 and 51 Long Row West are two houses that have been converted into a shop. They were built in the late 18th century and have been altered in the 19th and 20th centuries. The buildings are constructed of red brick with painted ashlar dressings and feature a hipped slate roof with a renewed blue brick parapet. There is a first floor band and a moulded wooden cornice. The structure has four storeys and a four-window range. The windows are plain sashes with stucco surrounds; two of the first-floor windows on the left have been altered, and the third-floor windows are smaller. The ground floor has an arcade supported by four stucco Doric columns and features a late 20th-century shopfront. Inside, there are round cast-iron columns with foliage capitals.
