Description

The boundary marker at the south-east corner of the bailey wall is a parish boundary marker dated 1869. Made of cast iron, it is a half-round post with a domed top, standing approximately 1 meter high. The post is inscribed with the names of the Overseers of the Poor in raised lettering. The boundaries of several parishes were defined in 1869 as part of the collection of the Poor Rates.
