Description
The Park Estate Office, built in 1909, is an estate office located on Lenton Road in Nottingham. It features red brick construction with timber framing and mostly rendered nogging, complemented by ashlar dressings. The roof is a combination of gabled and hipped, covered with plain tiles and various coped brick stacks.
The north front showcases a central Tudor arched plank door, flanked on the right by a four-light window, with a four-light box dormer above. To the right, there is a gabled wing with a three-light window, while to the left, a larger gable features a five-light window. Further to the left, there is a tenants' entrance with a turned wooden balustrade and a timber-framed screen wall with brick nogging.
The east gable includes a canted wooden bay window with six lights, and a casement window above it with shaped glazing bars. On the west front, there is a central segment-headed glazed door with an overlight and sidelight, accompanied on the right by a small window and a two-light box dormer above. The south front features a gabled wing with a bow window containing five lights, along with a side wall stack. The estate office was constructed towards the end of the development of the Park Estate.
