Description
Two sculptures of sleeping lions made of Coade stone date from the early 19th century and were relocated in the 20th century. These sculptures serve as the balustrade walls for a rebuilt garden stairway. One of the sculptures is broken open, revealing its constructional features. They are included for their group value with Clifton Hall.
