Description
This water pump and railings, located 10 meters north of Lenton Lodge, were built around 1823. The pump is made of cast iron and stands approximately 2 meters high, featuring a square, fluted design with an acorn finial, a spout, and a wrought-iron side handle. It has an ashlar base. Surrounding the pump is a spiked cast-iron railing and gate, which also has an ashlar plinth, and measures about 2 meters square. This pump may have originally served as part of the facilities for Lenton Lodge, although it is situated outside the park boundary. It is included for its group value.
