Description

The Vicarage at the Church of St Mary is a building constructed between 1937 and 1939 by architect Cecil Howitt of Nottingham. It features buff brick with brick dressings and a plain tile roof, which includes two large ridge stacks. The structure has a plinth and is designed in a two-storey format with three windows across the front. The central gable projects outward and contains a five-light window on the ground floor and a four-light window above it. Each side of the gable has a three-light window on the ground floor. The right side of the building includes a recessed porch and a four-light window above it. There is also an addition at the rear, built in the same style in the late 20th century. The original windows are casements with leaded glazing, featuring moulded brick mullions and surrounds.
