Description
Robin Hood Terrace comprises a terrace of twenty houses dating to around 1860, which were restored in approximately 1980. The houses are constructed of red brick with brick dressings and have slate roofs with renewed brick stacks. The terrace features cogged eaves. The windows are renewed sash windows with glazing bars and flat arches. The front doors are renewed and are set within brick round arches. The houses are arranged in symmetrical pairs, each with a single window and a side door, forming a 20-window range over three storeys. Robin Hood Terrace is part of a larger planned development which includes Campbell Grove and The Promenade, and was built following the Enclosure Act of 1845.
