Description
This is a gateway and boundary wall located at the rear of Number 7 Mevell House, built in 1877 by TC Hine of Nottingham. The structure is made of red brick, featuring a rock-faced stone plinth and ashlar coping. The wall encloses the stable court and spans the rear of the house. It has a central gateway with a renewed gate, flanked by square piers that have cornice caps. The wall on each side is approximately 2 meters high and 20 meters long, adorned with a corbel table and chamfered brick coping. This structure is included for its group value.
