Description

The Great Meeting Schools, dated 1859, is a building constructed from red and yellow brick with a slate roof and gabled ends featuring stone coping. It is two storeys tall and has a T-shaped plan. The building includes pointed-arch windows with casements that have glazing bars. At the center, there is a lower wing that is likely slightly older and displays a stone shield in the end gable with the inscription "Great Meeting Schools established 1708." Above the center of the main range, there is a timber octagonal bell-turret topped with a short lead-clad spire and a weather-vane.
