Description

The wall to the north of the Unitarian Chapel along Butt Close Lane is an 18th-century structure made of red brick, standing approximately eight feet tall. It features a later raised section and brick ramp coping. This wall is built on top of an earlier rubble wall that is about three to four feet high, which is believed to be remnants of the old town wall.
