Description

Clarendon Park Congregational Church was built in 1896 by James Tait of Leicester. The church is constructed from granite rubble with ashlar dressings and features a red tile roof. Its west end is particularly striking, showcasing a wide tower that is rectangular in plan. This tower includes an ashlar octagonal turreted and embattled bell stage topped with a red tile pavilion roof. The church has a nave with a clerestory, aisles, and transepts, all designed with Perpendicular architectural details.
